Under the Lights on Friday Nights at Madison International Speedway
Madison International Speedway will return to racing on Friday nights in 2014. Plans are for the weekly racing season opener to take place on Friday, May 23rd and continue until Friday, August 29th. There will be no Friday night racing on July 4th and August 22nd.
Highlighting the racing program will be the Super Late Models who will compete in as many as ten weekly events in 2014. The three race Triple Crown Challenge will be part of the Friday night Super Late Model schedule.
When the Super Late Models are not in action, MIS will be hosting a three Late Model races for Big 8 style late model cars. Rules are still being finalized and will be posted on our website when completed. The Big 8 Late Models will be back at Madison too.
The Trucks and Legends will be back again with eight or nine race dates.
Two divisions that formerly raced at Madison will be back in 2014 with the Sportsman taking to the half-mile and the Bandits battling it out on the Ring of Fire. Rules are being finalized for both divisions and will be posted on our website. Plans are for each division to race twelve nights in 2014.

The ARCA Midwest Tour and Joe Shear Classic will open the racing season at Madison in early May.
For the fourth straight season the ARCA Racing Series will be at Madison on Sunday, August 24th.
A major tractor and truck pulling event is still in the planning stage.
The annual "Salute to America" Night will be held on Friday, June 27th and will include the area's biggest and best fireworks display.
